Primary Care Built Around You, Not Your Insurance

Healthcare should be simple and personal. At Empowering Your Wellness LLC in Tallahassee, we use a model called Direct Primary Care (DPC). Instead of billing insurance for every visit, you pay one predictable monthly membership. That membership gives you direct access to your provider, Eula Weaver, APRN-C, whenever you need her.

What Is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care is primary care without the insurance middleman. We don't accept insurance, and you don't pay a fee each time you come in. Your membership covers almost all of your primary care, so appointments focus on you rather than paperwork and billing codes.

Membership is $100 covers the first month's fee & the consult, The $75 fee begins the following month, for the ongoing membership fee.

Who can become a member?

Adults 18 and older. Empowering Your Wellness is an adult-only practice, so we don't see children.

Do I still need health insurance?

Yes. We recommend keeping a high-deductible insurance plan or a health share plan. It protects you in case of major emergencies, surgery or specialist visits.

Can I use my insurance at your clinic?

No. We don't accept insurance. Stepping away from insurance companies lets us save you money and give you much more time with your provider.

If you'd like, we can still use your health insurance for referrals, imaging, vaccinations or blood work.

Why should I join if I'm healthy and rarely see a provider?

  • Build a baseline: getting to know your provider while you're healthy builds a real health partnership.
  • Focus on prevention: your provider has time to review your family history, run proactive screenings and guide your habits.
  • Catch issues early: proactive care stops small, silent problems from turning into expensive, complex conditions later.
  • Be ready for surprises: when you catch a bug or have a minor injury, you have 24/7 access to a provider who already knows you.

Am I wasting money if I don't use it every month?

  • Think of it like a gym membership for your health: it keeps care available the moment you need it.
  • Avoid costly ER and urgent care visits: one same-day visit for a bad flu can save enough on urgent care or ER costs to cover your membership for the year.
  • Whole-health value: you pay for unlimited access and peace of mind, not a fee per visit.

What happens when an unexpected health issue pops up?

  • Same-day access: you can usually book a same-day or next-day visit, or a sick visit for common illnesses.
  • Direct communication: you can contact your provider directly for quick advice.
  • No red tape: your provider can order basic labs, prescribe medication or coordinate care without waiting for insurance approval.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. If you re-join later, the $100 setup fee applies again.
